While finishing up my work at a factory involved in manufacturing parts for oil extraction — and not only that — I started worrying about my financial situation. Apart from already being buried in debt, I was also afraid of losing my job, because there had been two waves of layoffs at my last factory over the previous five months.

I recently moved my personal projects from a Russian server to a new one hosted by an international provider. At first I was thinking about Switzerland, but in practice the server that fit my budget and reliability requirements ended up being in Stockholm.
